The Week: September 6, 2013
You guys. YOU GUYS. It’s September. Do you know what that means?
It means my birthday is going to happen ANY DAY NOW. And also my anniversary. And then there’s my brother’s birthday, and my little cousins’ birthdays …. The whole month is basically an excuse for me to eat cake.
Rand and I are off to spend some quality time together, so I won’t be blogging next week – though I do have four years of archives ready for your perusal.
Have a wonderful week, everyone, and enjoy these links.

Watch this video because it will make your day (it features Todd Hiddleston, Cookie Monster, and a lesson in delayed gratification. I am swooning, people.)
—————
TINY OCELOT. (Psst, Rand: I know you already got me my birthday present, so … maybe I can have one of these for Christmas?)
—————
The story behind the legendary I (heart) NY ad campaign.
—————
Don’t kid yourselves: the space age is NOW.
—————
TINY PAPER HATS ON CATS. (The Internet has reached its zenith.)
—————
A guide to cell phone etiquette that we should probably all follow.
—————
For those of you who dig sushi, but still care about the world: a guide to which fish are okay to eat.
—————
How would you have died in 1811? An interactive and morbid little game shows which diseases would have likely claimed your life in the past.
—————
A punny story about why you should name all your children Aaron.
—————
This is pretty much the best music video I’ve ever seen. (And it brings up a good point – what sound does a fox make?)
—————
That’s it for me this week, folks. I’m sure I’ll have gobs to tell you when I return to the blog on the 16th. Until then, be well, and eat some extra dessert for me.
